Dear Parents, Carers, Pupils and Visitors,

It is with great joy and excitement that I introduce myself as the new Headteacher of St Michael and All Angels Catholic Primary School. I am delighted to be joining the school community in September and feel incredibly honoured to have the opportunity to lead such a welcoming and faith-filled school.

St Michael and All Angels is a wonderful two-form entry Catholic primary school with a strong commitment to ensuring every child feels valued, supported and inspired. I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, governors, parish community, families and, most importantly, our children, as we continue to build upon the many strengths of our school.

At the heart of everything we do is our mission: "Believe, Achieve, Belong Together with Christ." This mission reflects our commitment to nurturing the whole child, helping every pupil to grow academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. Guided by our Catholic faith, we encourage our children to believe in themselves and in God's love, achieve their full potential, and feel a true sense of belonging within our school family.

My leadership is inspired by the words of St Paul:

"Let all that you do be done in love."
1 Corinthians 16:14

This message reminds us that love, kindness and respect should guide our actions each day. Our values are supported by our simple but powerful behaviour expectations: Be Ready, Be Respectful and Be Safe. These expectations help create a positive learning environment where children can flourish, develop confidence, show compassion for others and take pride in their achievements.

I firmly believe that strong partnerships between home, school and parish are essential in helping children thrive. I am excited to build these relationships and become an active member of the St Michael and All Angels community. Together, we will continue to provide the highest standards of education and care while ensuring that our Catholic ethos remains at the centre of all we do.

Starting at a new school is always an exciting journey, and I cannot wait to get to know the children and families who make St Michael and All Angels such a special place. I am filled with optimism for the future and look forward to working with you to ensure that every child feels happy, valued and successful.
